Hi, my name is Debbie.  I live in SARASOTA, FLA . I came here to semi retired, but have been working on and off at different jobs for the past 2 years.  I have been employed by WALMART since Aug  2007.  I began as a cashier and then after my 1rst anniversary I got into the Photo Lab and now I will be on 3rd shift doing stocking and possible going into overnight electronics.  Before this job I drove a taxicab for almost 20 yrs and now have nothing to show for it….but do believe in 2nd chances!

Now that I have been hired at my local Walmart, going to full time, I have gotten benefits, which this year I am starting with the 401K, and Health Wellness which I did look into and decided against it .  Now the 401K also has the catch up.  As an employee I have the 10% discount of course comes in handy most of the time, except on Food.

When I was born I  had several Birth Defects such as holes in my eardrums and deforms inner ear bones, a hole in my heart which I had surgery the summer of ‘68.   I also had  problems with my intestines and had a iliostomy back in 2001 just after the towers went down. 

I am single AND NOT LOOKING! Have 3children, a girl and two boys. My daughter is the mother of my two beautiful grandchildren, my oldest son is in the ARMY, while his younger brother is no longer with the army, and just graduated collage, is now employed and starting out his likfe.  And I am proud of all three!

For the past few years, my passion has been GENEAOLGY, since my father died in Dec. 2005.  I have traced the  Sargent line back to the mid/late 1700’s. This goes back to my 7th generation grandparent on dad’s side. One special thing I have found that I am the first born of three generations~first born child of my father, first born grandchild of his father, and first born great grandchild of his grandfather.
