 Ten Successful Tweeting Guidelines

Got this idea from one of my TWEETS I follow @johncow  So I thought I would put in my 2cents worth.

  1. Provide a link to your blog, website, or extended profile
  2. Reply to genuine direct messages. Don’t get many, but do send them out.  Using DM’s is really great and helpfull, so remember to use them.
  3. Follow people back if they interest you. Good rule of thumb, have a pic, website, location (state if all you want to tell), and have a link to back up what you tweet, makes for interesting ongoing conversation.
  4. Write concisely. use few words to say much but being effective at the same time.
  5. Ask questions. Good way to learn something new
  6. Give answers. Try to back them up with a link
  7. Find people to follow. Take the time to look over your followers’ following/followers
  8. Offer free stuff to attract followers. HERE IS MINE - will start your basic pedigree tree (with in the usa) check here will go with yourself, your parents , and their parents and see just where you go from there. JUST SEND INFO to me email - swedisgnom@yahoo.com with PEDIGREE INFO in subject line.
  9. Link to third-party information relevant to your followers. I am taking this has to do with RT (Re Tweets) making use of copy and paste, shortcutting words and using the links.
  10. Be yourself.  Of course, Always

Most of my tweets are “Passing It On”

My question to you, “What is you favorite Twitter Tip ” just twit it
