At the suggestion of a member of the new generation of homemakers (the younger set) I am offering the half apron.  These are a more modern version of a regular apron that ties at the waist.  This would make a great shower gift for an upcoming wedding.  You could even color coordinate one of the new brightly colored waffleweave kitchen towels.
