Seek out and spend time with whatever makes you feel good, calm, and safe. Rather than wasting time worrying about the future, trying to fix things or people, or lamenting what happened yesterday, take advantage of your free time by doing things that nourish you.
Don’t feel like you have any free time? Do this: Take a deep breath, and hold it for a second. In that space between breaths, you will find your time. That space represents pure awareness and pure stillness. In that stillness, you will find your calm, your safe, and your peace, because that moment in time is all you ever really have. Savor it.
