This is a tasty and festive-looking soup. And, there are only a few ingredients. Very inexpense to make.
2-28 oz. cans crushed tomatoes
8 cups homemade chicken stock, or from pre-packaged carton
2 tablespoons fresh dill, chopped
Hot sauce to taste
Instructions
Put first three ingredients in large soup pot and bring to boil; reduce to simmer and simmer for 30 minutes. Season with hot sauce.
Makes at least 12 cups of soup. Freezes nicely.
